Elarium is a competitive free-to-play, team-based, first-person shooter with play & earn mechanics, combining a fast-paced combat experience with an extensive creator toolbox.
Packed with different game modes, a variety of maps and endless ways to dive into a multiplayer environment, Elarium is primarily focused on delivering a fun and engaging gameplay experience. Throughout the game, players obtain character & weapons skins, as well as utility items in a form of non fungible tokens (“NFTs”) which can be exchanged on the game’s marketplace. Players can form clans through which they can build up their clan-vaults, allowing them to manage and lend regular & earning skins, as well as other items.
In addition to simply being a fun game, Elarium allows players to earn its native $ELAR token based on their gaming performance. While the game is free to play for everyone, earning will be limited to Origin NFT holders and based on the individual earning factor of that NFT and their gameplay.
In-game assets such as weapon & character skins, weapon attachments and utility items will be freely tradable on our marketplace. Furthermore, there will be no pay-to-win elements and for that reason weapon & gear impact in-game are standardized, not dependent on characteristics such as rarity.
Based on these principles, players will truly own their progress through their NFTs on the blockchain which may give them the opportunity to bring these into other worlds. In fact, we highly encourage and promote breaking down traditional gaming silos to explore and collaborate in an interoperable future within the entire web3 gaming ecosystem.
Looking beyond the immediate horizon, Elarium is aiming to expand to an MMO-like hub ("Metaverse"), where the first-person-shooter (“FPS”) element influences the social and economical areas of the game.
