Paths of player progression in Elarium
Elarium offers multiple paths of player progression.
Each game rewards the player with Experience Points ("XP"), which increase the player's level that is displayed to everyone in the Elarium universe. Throughout game activities players are rewarded with different types of Boxes, which contain items in the form of NFTs. These can be used for both character- and weapon progression paths in-game.
For a fee, players may acquire a Season Pass, which offers a wide variety of additional rewards as they move through the seasonal progression. The Season Pass has no relation to the base progression curve but adds additional collectibles, XP boosts or earnable boxes.
Character Progression
Every new player in Elarium starts with the same playable character. Upon leveling this character, players are rewarded with Gear Kits. Each gear kit may contain skins for base character models, exo suits, helmets, pants, gloves as well as Scrap Points.
Players are able to to customize their characters visual appearance in many different ways with new drops added in each season.
Character Skins obtained through gear kits can be sold or exchanged on the marketplace or dismantled into Scrap Points. These are then used to exchange for additional XP which will help reaching the next level.
Weapon Progression
All players start with standard weapons for each slot. Upon each level up in weapon progression, players are rewarded with Weapon Caches. These caches may contain:
Weapon Skins obtained through Weapon Caches can be sold or exchanged on the marketplace or dismantled into Scrap Points. These are then used to exchange for additional XP which will help reaching the next level.
