Boxes in Elarium
A box contains a selection of items and when unboxed they will provide the player with an item from its selection. Boxes are occasionally awarded from completing games and opening them requires a matching key obtained in the shop.
Weapon Caches
Contains weapons, weapon skins, and weapon attachments with random rarity. Different weapon caches contain different items. Can be traded and sold on the marketplace. Requires a matching key to unbox.
The item you receive from unboxing is random, and the chances vary depending on rarity of the items available. Weapon Caches have no specific rarity, only the items inside them do.
Gear Kits
Contains cosmetic character skins with random rarity. Different gear kits contain different items. Can be traded and sold on the marketplace. Requires a matching key to unbox.

Keys for opening boxes
Keys can primarily be purchased in our shop. Depending on what box you are opening you may need a matching key in order to open it. Check twice.
Elarium Keycard Boxes (One-Time Exclusives)
If you have an Elarium Keycard from the Uniq Marketplace you will receive special one-time only boxes (Keycard Weapon Caches & Gear Kits). The rarity of the boxes you receive will be matched to the Keycard you hold. If you have an epic Keycard you get an epic Weapon Cache and epic Gear Kit. Therefore the items you receive from unboxing them will be of epic rarity.
These rarity specific boxes are only claimable once for each Keycard and not available anywhere else. Boxes from the Keycards also does not require a key to unbox.
State of Decay on items from boxes
As always, items comes with 1 of 3 different states of decay; Battle-scarred, Worn, or Pristine. Each item, regardless of how it was obtained, will also be assigned a state of decay at random. State of decay can be upgraded for individual items using repair kits from the Elarium shop.
Selling and trading boxes and items
Using our marketplace you can buy, sell and rent out all types of items (NFTs) ranging from character & gear skins to weapon skins, repair kits and other utility items and even boxes.
The shop exists for primary sales (directly from Elarium) and the marketplace for secondary sales (by users).
